Old Malt Cask Strathmill 21 Year Old

This single cask expression is part of the Old Malt Cask range by Hunter Laing & Co. Distilled in July 1996 and matured for 21 years in a refill hogshead, it was bottled in February 2018 at a preferred strength of 50% bav, producing just 285 bottles.The nose is very fruity with delicious orange, apple and lime notes. The palate offers poached pears in syrup with ginger, caramel and more orange. The finish is long and spicy, with stewed fruits lingering.
