Cascahuin Blanco Tequila

Cascahuin Blanco Tequila is produced at the family-owned Cascahuin distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico. Established in 1904, the distillery operates under NOM 1123 and is overseen by master distiller Salvador Rosales. The tequila is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave using traditional production methods.

The agave is cooked in brick ovens before extraction using roller mills. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by double distillation in copper pot stills. As an unaged blanco tequila, the spirit is bottled immediately after distillation to preserve the pure agave character. The tequila is bottled at 40% ABV and has been verified as additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker.

The tequila presents a clear and bright appearance. On the nose, citrus notes including lemon and lime are accompanied by cooked agave, mineral notes, fresh agave, and a hint of pepper. The palate offers a sweet entry that transitions to natural bitterness, with citrus, herbs, agave, minerality, and a touch of anise. The finish is smooth and refreshing with medium length.

The mineral profile of Cascahuin Blanco is attributed to the terroir of El Arenal in the Valley region of Jalisco. The distillery has received recognition based on ratings from Tequila Matchmaker. The tequila is presented in a clear glass bottle with straightforward labeling that emphasizes the product itself.
